Bengal Association of Bloomsburg Area (BABA) hosts a cultural presentation in Town Park in Bloomsburg in May. 2010 will be the 10th anniversary of the event.
The Bengal Diversity Festival features music, dance, food and educational offerings about Bengal culture. Cross cultural offerings of dance/music are also showcased.
Past performers have included Kalavant Center for Music and Dance, New York featuring the Tabla Maestro: Ustad Kadar Khan and Celebrity Sitarists. The event is free and open to the public. This project is supported by the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA).
