A few years ag I found a copy of Carl Sandburg’s book, “The American Songbag.” As a blues performer and song collector, it was truly inspiring.
After combing the Internet and with the help of a friend I have been able to gather some of these songs from vinyl. Thanks also to the folks on the SEM-L list for their help, and a major resource has been Stan Wirz’s site:
